The Bradford Sweets Scandal, England 1858

The mass poisoning of hundreds of people within a 24 hour period and the subsequent deaths of 20 people. The race was on to find the cause before more people suffered. Also covered is the infamous Manchester mass beer poisoning outbreak in 1900 & the Aberdeen typhoid food poisoning incident in 1964 that overwhelmed hospitals with victims.
